Splayed frog

This is the first time that I have seen a frog in my pond in this position. There was a second frog nearby too, but it plopped into the water on my approach. I wonder if I interrupted something?

Mr hazelh worked hard on the house clearing work in Northumberland most of the day, so I have been confined to quarters again, looking after Mummy hazelh on my own. My duties have been mainly domestic, with a little work thrown in for good measure. Mr hazelh will be back in time for supper. I am very much looking forward to seeing him.

I slept brilliantly last night: 9 hours in total with almost 5 (4'52") classed as 'deep'!

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike.
