Hungry Guests

We managed to play a bit of golf on a Tuesday for the first time in a few weeks, although only 13 holes were open. It seemed to suit me playing fewer holes as I managed a couple of pars and even finished with a birdie.

On the subject of birdies, the jackdaws were making a racket this afternoon while enjoying the fat balls and nuts. The one on the left had got the hang of stopping the tray from swinging while it was eating.

This afternoon we had our regular Tuesday routine with Sophie though we were a bit alarmed to see a lot of the girls coming out of class in tears. It turned out that their teacher, who is lovely, had just broken the news that she is leaving at Easter, having got promotion at a school nearer home. Apparently she was in tears too!
