The Temple Of Apollo, Stourhead

We met my sister and brother in law at Stourhead this morning for a stroll through the grounds, where the azalea and rhododendron are still blooming well, as this typical Stourhead view of the Temple of Apollo shows.

Afterwards we stopped for lunch at the nearby Hillhead Brush museum, which is a bit of an oddity. 

The relatively modern factory of the Hillhead Brush Company, which has just celebrated its centenary, houses a very smart restaurant and a small but interesting museum detailing the history of the company and the process of brush making. All rather eccentric.
