Sowing Seeds

Sowing the first seeds of the year. Spinach (3 varieties), Swiss chard, lettuce, leeks, and carrots all sown, along with some British basil, black chilli peppers, and aubergines. Hoping they will all germinate! Wonderful to be outside. The days feel so much lighter and the birds are singing in chorus as the day dawns. It feels heavenly, like a dark blanket has been lifted. I heard my first chiff chaff of the year yesterday.
