Lisa and Lori Looking at The Lottery

5 of us today went to the Ringling Museum of Art. Me, Lisa, Lori, Steve and Cindy. Lisa and Lori are looking at one of our favorite paintings. Since we were there at 10, we beat the crowds that come on free Monday.

After the museum, a trip to Trader Joes for groceries and Sonny's BBQ for lunch.

No surprises there, but when we got home, a BIG surprise was waiting. In the kitchen, there was a suitcase with a purse on top. My daughter Karen is supposed to arrive on Thursday. Did she come early? 

NO, it was my other daughter Julie who pranced out of the bedroom. WHAT?

She is staying for about 8 days, and will return with Karen back to Michigan.

How did we treat our new arrival in the not-so-friendly nightly game of euchre? Lisa and I soundly trounced Julie and Lori 3 games to 1, and when I say trounced...it was a thrashing.
