Non Match Day
The ‘Not Forgotten’, a charity supporting military veterans, is sending out its annual invitations to various charities. Protocol dictates that you should only ever attend one, either as the named invitee or the invitees consort. For different reasons I have attended three so not for me.
Non Match Day.
The morning was spent out at Sticker, near St Austell, for the monthly Veterans Breakfast and very enjoyable it was to.
Afterwards once dropped off at home I walked up to the rugby club and commenced cooking. The hope being that today being ‘Super Saturday’ and three Six Nations matches kicking off at 2:45, 4:30 and 8:00 we would get a half decent crowd to eat and enjoy the day.
I left for home, shattered at around 7:00pm, by then, with a lot of food remaining we had sold enough to cover our costs and with the food remaining going to tomorrows Academy Day we should be good.
Still frustrating though.
