A walk by the Mersey

We got away in the van before lunch and had a break en route, arriving the Jackson’s Boat around 4.15. We missed our M60 exit so had to do a circuitous route back.

It’s free to park to customers but they were closing up when we went in so they said just to enter our vehicle number. We had a walk by the Mersey. Everything is so much further ahead down here with hedges out by the M1. However we left the sun in Northumberland - it’s grey here. Maybe I just carry a grey cloud around with me.

We can hear the M60 from the van but it’s so handy as the metro stop to get into Manchester is just a hundred yards up the road.
