Orkney today

Had an amazing tour of Orkney in magnificent weather. Pauline the tour guide was saying it’s been the best day of the year, warm with no wind! 

Along with the stunning scenery we saw Scapa Flow, the Italian Chapel, some beautiful beaches, as well as the lovely Kirkwall, with its history dating back to the vikings.

The Italian Chapel is amazing, made by Italian prisoners of war during World War Two. 

We will definitely visit Orkney again.
