A touch of the 'gentle, weather

Looking out to Loch Cuin.

This is taken from the road just outside Dervaig, a picturesque view whatever the weather. In the distance you can see the entrance to the loch which is narrow and rocky, not a route for boats.

Sheep graze on the grass, gulls and herons pose on the rocks and waders search for insects and small shells; with a high tide the rocks and grass are covered - all very tidy. From the house we look out to the hill on the other side off the village, on days like this when covered in mist we cannot see the village, road or hill. It's the edge of the world.
