Hypericum androsaemum

Or commonly known as Tutsan meaning Toute Saine - all healthy - apparently it comes with healing properties.

Thank you Wikipedia and to J for finding the true and common name. After 14/15 years of living with HA we have not come to grips with the name.

It is a pretty shrub, later there will be berries, it will die back in the winter and without any help emerge next year through the gravel. I haven't noticed that it is of benefit to birds or insects, perhaps that's why it has a low profile here.
