Birthday buddies!

Today was my son’s 35th birthday and also my granddaughter’s 4th birthday (she’s his niece). She went to nursery, and he and his wife ran 35km, one km for each year of his life, from his home in Belfast to Bangor!
It doesn’t sound like an enjoyable birthday activity to me, but then I spent the day moving a log pile into the log shed so what do I know?
Everyone this evening loved the gypsy tart, but it wasn’t perfect, so I need to practise a bit more I think!
