Trondheim and Krisianson
I had a terrible night with a temperature and a pounding head. I managed to get up for breakfast but went back to bed for the rest of the day till about 2pm when I forced myself to get up and showered, ready for an excursion later. I could really have done without it but it was quite expensive and non refundable so I battled through.
I managed to sleep for another hour or so before we had to leave for our trip but I really was close to cancelling it as I felt like absolute death. Pounding head, aching all over, feeling sick and very weak. I hated the idea of not being able to lay down if I needed to.
I slept for the hours coach journey to the Marble Mine. Shame as apparently the scenery was amazing. How I was feeling ruined the trip a bit. We were deep in a marble cave where you sat in little electric barges and were taken deep into the caves. We were then offered a cup of marble filtered water then some soup in their conference hall following by a lecture about mining. A bit boring but at least we were sitting.
The ship had sailed on to the next port where we boarded again at 9pm. The others went for dinner - I went back to bed and prepared for a rough night. We were warned of 5 metre waves in the night so they said to leave belongings on the floor!!
