Mothers Day
As predicted, a shocking day weatherwise, but I feel a bit brighter.
Mum came round for church and very proudly showed everyone photos of her latest copperfoil. A barn owl in flight. It is very beautiful. She's given it to her osteopath as a thank you for keeping her mobile. I did a reading in church with many others and received a primula as did all the ladies. One for my neighbour too. We then drove to Wells for lunch in Sands. It's the same people that own the pub opposite us in the village, but a different menu, with more fish dishes and wonderful views over the harbour....seen more clearly when the sun shines obviously!! Mum had monkfish and I had sea bream with a beautiful crispy skin. The boys stuck to meat!
It was gorgeous, but I bloated up again and felt dreadful. We dropped mum back and headed home in shocking weather and some roads were flooded right across.
The Great Pottery throwdown final. Incredible.
