Sitting Outside

I spent the morning catching up on other people's blips. It was very grey outside and rained a little but as the morning wore on the sun appeared and drove away all the clouds - time to go outside.
Jan was feeling quite a lot better and we went out for a short walk before returning to sit on Betty's veranda in the late afternoon.  In the photo, taken at 3 o'clock, you can see the sun is just above the trees. Last week it was just below the trees, next week it will be well above the trees and spring will be approaching!
I dug away more of the snow, partly to let more light into the veranda and partly because it was so pleasant working in the warm sun with my jacket hanging over the back of a chair.
At various points of the day Jan and I continued to discuss the film we saw yesterday "Zone of Interest". What a film! But having slept badly last night (the film again) I'm now off to bed to sleep a little longer hopefully!
