Back to Burton Hospital for 12 o’clock to see the Pulmary Consultant, a very nice lady, accompanied by a Specialist Nurse. She explained how I’d arrived in their care and what investigations are planned. Starting with lung function tests and an echocardiogram today. 

There are always opportunities to learn new skills and when given a ‘nose clip’ and the mouthpiece ‘thing’ to breath into, I was asked if I’d ever done scuba diving? 

No!!! Well if I fancy trying it out, I know know how to breath now. :0))) The lady doing the test gave me the nose clip to take home and it is being utilised in my sewing room to fix hanging bags. 

I need another different scan which is booked for next week in Nottingham!!! Another new hospital to find, which has insufficient parking, so you are advised to allow 40 minutes to get a space. Well it’s one way of getting to know the area. We grabbed a coffee and cake to share before heading home. Amber was relieved to see us and find that we were taking her out for a walk. Fresh air and exercise were on the agenda, before I crashed out on the settee for a rest, with Amber parked at the other end to keep me warm. 

I found some more appliqués on the wall, beautiful !!!!
