Oh you Pretty thing

It finally happened 

NEW CAR 

Couldn't get it yesterday cause my licence was expired

My driver's licence was expired  - we couldn't agree the finance without it 

When we arrived tonight ... They were in a holding pattern waiting for my driver's check number and my signature and then it was 'you might have to wait for an hour or so'

The man came back relatively quickly tho ... 

No big smile...… It was ours 

Keys handed over.  I asked for someone to sing as we walked out to it. Or play a trumpet but no one stepped up. Sad 

We sat in the car while a young lad denied knowing anything about any of the buttons I asked about 

We put the seat warmer on.  We put the steering wheel warmer on.  We put the massage seat on.   We turned the meesak.up really loud 

We dismissed the wee boy 

And started the engine 

Oh heavens. It's quite lovely 

It was pouring with rain  so not the most enjoyable ride 

We sat in the drive a while and then Swapped over  

Himself drove down the road; back up the road; round the round about thru the puddles. Through the town. And back home 

We sat for another half an hour 

And then Decided we should probably go in
