Roosting Pigeons

Back to a spell of grey weather. The cold wind blowing off the cold North Sea. There was a hint of brightness as I started my walk, but it soon disappeared. Walking through the park I cam across these three pigeons roosting in a tree. They are all puffed up to protect them from the biting cold wind.

Afternoon walk was interesting. On a log there was some Scarlet Elf Cap. The Extra was sharpest photo I took.. The leaf on the fungus was interfering with the AF, and the angle was too tight to try MF. It was nice to get to the café to warm up with afternoon coffee and cake.
