Our feathered visitor

 
Well, to be honest I am not sure if this is the same pheasant that used to visit us last winter because one pheasant looks like another because this is the first time this season we have put the wildlife camera up in this corner of the garden.
 
Just back from my annual visit to the podiatrist and I enquire if there is anything I can do to stop a corn developing.
“ Yes…don’t walk.” Well, that’s a non-starter.

“What are my chances of getting a NHS referral?” I ask since this is a private one.
“You will have at least six months to wait …and then you will more than likely be told that they can’t find any record of it. That’s what people tell us when they come here.”

Ouch! For some time, I have had a suspicion that healthcare is age related and this was confirmed this afternoon when M visited the local GP. He mentioned a referral to a specialist he was given some time ago that never materialised.

So he asked again.  How long will he have to wait?
