Kaybees Bits

In The Middle Of Nowhere....

I was up early thins morning to let the SIL get in to work early (Bags is in Ireland with work).
There was a wee bit of colour in the sky as I left the house - and a really solid bank of cloud as well.

Mid morning SWMB and I headed into the wilds so I could pick up (purchase) some wood. The owner also told me where I should be able to get my chainsaw properly serviced.
Miraculously, all the wind turbines (in the middle of nowhere) were turning. I don't think I have ever seen that before.

When we got home our next door neighbour told me that the tree in the garden is going to be taken down tomorrow (I may be in line for a chunk of wood...). It is a good move since it is a Copper Beech and is now a bit over 30 years old and has the potential to grow to have a footprint bigger that the house. They will get a lot more light in their living-room.

No turning was done today - but there was some preparing of wood to go on the lathe.

Pictures start HERE .... starting with the vinaigrette bottle I shot as illustration for somebody.
