Living Temple

Enjoyed attending the 2nd of 4 Wednesday evening Lent talks held in the State Chamber (aka Great Hall) on the different aspects of being a church.

The King
First time picking him up from his school this afternoon with my daughter. He is doing very well and in excellent form. The school had a very nice feel about it and seems to provide a very wide range of activities for the children. The reception year also has a little library area, where TK (and anyone-one else) can sit in relative peace when they wish to.

The Talk
Tonight it was Church as the Living Temple of God which covered the early history of the first Christian church King Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem linking it's links to Christian faith and scripture.

Interesting to hear that the current Anglican Archbishop of Jerusalem visited the Minster a few years ago, when he was a canon.

The audience ranged from the very learned to the little learned; I'm firmly in the latter category!

Warming to see our lovely Dean Nicola and Bishop Ronald (retired) in attendance.
