A bed of polyanthus- Chelmsford River Park
A frustrating watercolour class this morning as we spent a long time drawing the sea scene, spent at least an hour discussing colour theory and then when it came to applying the paint we only had half an hour. At which time my paper became saturated so the paint did not apply properly. I resigned myself to doing the base layer at home with new higher quality paper. Another bad lesson so it helped me to decide against signing up for the summer term lessons.
To cheer up I walked through the park, into town, for a coffee where I saw the pretty flowers in today's blip. This lifted my mood.
