Worthy of Love

Twenty-nine years ago today I became a mother; the mother of Amanda, whose name means, "Worthy of Love".

It was the best day of my life.

The day Amanda was born it was 113 degrees in Dallas, Texas. That hot streak continued with 6 weeks of over 100 degree weather.

Today we celebrated with my family at my nephew's girlfriend's family's cupcake restaurant, Sara Sara for breakfast.

Some of us had egg, bacon and cheese breakfast cupcakes with cream cheese spread which were out of this world. There were even cold, frosted mugs to drink our milk out of.

We celebrated early because we were headed to Wichita, Kansas for the 40th Wedding Anniversary dinner and dance for my sister and brother-in-law.
