Fed the birds then walked down to Tesco. A bit dull to tempt me out for a blip walk so I did a few odd jobs inside and out. While clearing the pile of leaves that accumulate where the drainpipe comes down at the back the two robins appeared, perhaps hoping to find  insects that were underneath. I crept away. 

Some brightness late morning so I loaded the garden waste bags into the car and drove to the recycling site. Then took a chance and headed the short distance to Waterhead where it was my lucky day and there was an empty parking space.  

The sign and daffodils were so much brighter than the lake views.
