Skyline

I was down at Inverleith for 9 this morning to hand in papers for inspection. It was a lovely sunny day. I was then back after lunch to pick them up. They had passed.

Looking south over Goldenacre you get the outline of Arthur’s Seat, on Carlton Hill the National Monument of Scotland (Scotland’s disgrace) and the Nelson Monument, and Salisbury Crags. Further off to the right you would see the outline of St Giles’ crown, the Scott Monument and the Castle.

As an inhabitant of the south side of the city this is a view I don’t see often enough which is a shame.
