I have NO idea what is going on here but on our walk this afternoon the absolute quiet was pierced by the yells and gurgles of these two.
Some 10m (30') up the tree on the only smooth patch of bark, the galahs were rubbing their faces in the bark while clinging on to a very smooth surface with their toe nails.

Getting VERY jiggy with it!!
