The Arc

A very enjoyable stroll around Wrexham. This sculpture - "The Arc" by David Annan - depicts a steelworker and a coalminer. 

The most notable superlative of the day: Wrexham Lager was the first such product in the UK. In 1882, two immigrants from Bavaria - Ivan Levinstein and Otto Isler - worked with a local German born industrialist Robert Graesser to produce the first Bavarian-style pale lager in the UK.  Wrexham Lager claims to be the first lager exported to India, the Americas and Australia and was the only lager available on the Titanic.
