Snow, sheep and Skiddaw

A leisurely drive down to Bassenthwaite stopping in Moffat to walk around the community wildlife reserve and suss out the start of the Devil’s Beef Tub planned for late April.

With time to spare I detoured through Isel where the views towards Skiddaw were dangerously distracting. I stopped to get a blip and admire the Herdwicks, extra.

Lovely to be back at Higham Hall and catch up. Several days of yoga, walking, excellent company and homely meals ahead.
