Another trip

Back to Burton hospital this afternoon for another MRI scan for B. We got the letter with the appointment last Saturday followed by a text the same day, also more texts on Tuesday and Thursday. And, a phone call on Wednesday. Talk about overkill !!! I think that there must be a high rate of DNA’s, so they are checking patients out. 

The caller on Wednesday emphasised that B should not have any metal on his clothing, so jeans are out. Gone are the days when they gave you a gown to wear and you removed any unsuitable items. 

B was a winner on this one as I bought him some new tracksuit bottoms yesterday in Lichfield. He always had a cupboard full when he was coaching athletics, but we had a sort out when we moved and they had all gone!!! They were from a new shop to me and I was most impressed. Inexpensive and super quality, a  positive outcome, I will buy more and look to see what their women’s wear is like. 

This appliqué was on the wall of the entrance to the hospital, I only noticed on the way out. My initial intended blip is in extras. We had a long wait in this seating area. 90 minutes for me, B’s scan took 7 minutes, no wonder I was bored. I’ve added a picture that was in the corridor, thought that it might be inspiration for appliqué in the future. 

Amber was home alone, so we got a warm welcome when we got home.

Spending the evening watching the indoor athletics from Glasgow !!!!
