Wasdale

Planned a trip up to Wasdale to see if we could find the "Emerald Pools". We had been up the in the summer and it was pretty dry so the pools weren't particularly obvious.  On that day we ended up climbing up by Piers Gill and heading around over Lingmell, - an epic day out. 
 Today there was plenty of water to say the least, we found the pools and I spent a fair bit of time sitting on a rock in the middle of the river snapping away. 
However today, the stars were the hills, with sun on the snow they were fantastic. Was hard to choose a favourite but I think its this shot of Great Gable , I loved the shards of light and gave it a bit of blue hue for a moody shot.

Sty Head Pass.
