Friday: Returning Scholars

The UK runs an international scholarship programme for Masters degrees at British universities.  This is last year’s cohort who returned in October last year.  Between they have two LLMs and MScs in Public Health, Mental Health and Forestry.  I invited them over for lunch today - they were a lively bunch and it was great to hear their impressions of the UK.  Two were in Edinburgh, one at UCL, one at York and the last in Swansea.

Gym in the afternoon and Corkers this evening.  We ran into a couple of colleagues there so had a drink with them.  It’s the first time we’ve been since G+S have split up and when they’ve both working. It’s a little odd - like a Swiss weather house with one coming over to chat as the other disappears.
