Happy Father's Day!!!

When I seen this card on the shelf I knew it was the right one for dad because in the picture the little girl is following her dad with her toy lawnmower - just like I did! :) Never has a card been more perfect for its purpose!

It's difficult to put into words just how much my dad means to me. Since as long as I can remember I've been a daddy's girl with mum usually dishing out the discipline but when the words "wait till your father gets home" came from her mouth, I knew that I'd done wrong and was in serious trouble! haha!

Dad has been there for me even when I didn't think I needed him. He was the quiet one in the room watching with pride as his only child and daughter opened her exams results, he took me to university on his own as mum recovered from treatment, he was there to give me a kick and keep me focussed when homesickness controlled my life, he was the proudest dad in the Caird Hall on graduation day, and since the day I was born when he chose my name, he has only ever wanted the very best for me and to make sure that I'm always happy...
