Splish splash of yellow

Backblip from Wednesday. I took a short lunchtime walk around our business park's pond and spotted this beautiful natural mini-tableau. This tiger hoverfly (Helophilus pendulus) was taking nectar from a dog-rose (Rosa canina) but it looks as if the hoverfly has plunged into a pool of yellow paint and splashed it across the petals.
