Leap day

I had some ideas about leaping pictures for today, but a busy day meant that I didn’t have the time or energy to implement them.

I’m doing a short course on communicating with people living with dementia called “moving beyond words” on Thursday mornings. But had to dash off part way through the session as there was a routine review meeting about the nursing care J’s receiving. Unfortunately the nurse on duty wasn’t aware of the meeting, and was short staffed, so we decided the only sensible option was to reschedule. I spent a reasonable half hour with J, and then headed home as I needed to log onto my laptop for a working afternoon.

Turned the computer off about 5 and had a brisk walk up to the shop - as I came back I rather liked the way the setting sun was colouring some of the clouds and not others.
