Leaving
Those who have been following my exploration of Newlyn Harbour will know where this photo was taken. I was down by the seafront and in the distance the South Pier, with lighthouse, and the North Pier can just about be seen.
We came down to look at the sea and to go to another lovely cafe. This one is to right by the sea and is run by two ladies out of a container in the garden of the Art Gallery (see extra). Great coffee and toasties.
Murky this morning, as it has been most of the time we’ve been here. Not that it has really bothered us as we had planned a low key holiday, abandoning the car and making the most of having everything within walking distance or a bus or train ride away.
We’ve loved being here in our daughter’s cosy cottage but we are now making our way home - currently breaking the journey at a Premier Inn in a Business Park near Gloucester. Home tomorrow, hoping we don’t meet snow on the way!
