Our first visit to Naburn Locks this year.

The few caravans were parked on higher ground. Hopefully the main site will be open by Easter.
A nice walk along the riverbank. Not too muddy and just a slight deviation because of water.
Heard a Curlew among the usual bird song.
Merlin App told us a tree creeper and redwing also skylark were singing but I’m afraid we didn’t see them.

Also we weren’t keen on the ‘milk’ we had in the tea.

Staff were also very nice.
However we won’t be going again.
Collage of some other photos I took today.
Called for compost and farmyard manure ( bagged) on the way home.
Now enjoying a cuppa with proper milk.
