Bumblesnaps

Whodunnit ?

This roundabout is at the entrance to the neighbourhood shopping parade. The neighbourhood was built in the early 1960s on what was previously farmland.
I often wonder whose idea it was to plant it with these miniature daffodils.  Daffodils and crocuses have also been planted on a lot of grass verges beside the roads.
It’s good to see these little splashes of colour where you wouldn’t expect them. It was even better during lockdown, when the council stopped cutting the grass and roundabouts and grass verges all over the town were covered in wild flowers.
Which, of course, meant more bumblebees !
