Pointing the way ahead

These mahonia buds should be open soon. I hope it’s not long, because they’re great at attracting bumblebees. This winter seems to be going on for ever.
Just poked the camera out of the front door today, as Mr. Beewatcher’s still testing positive for COVID a week after his first test. He’s had to miss his weekly jolly, volunteering at the Bluebell Railway, and wanted a bit of company.
