That’s torn it

Spotted on my way to the dentist this morning. Thought the tear was rather painful. The torn branch was in bud.

I was not looking forward to my visit. I’d broken a tooth last week. To my great surprise and relief the dentist said it could be repaired and may well last a good few years before a crown was needed. No injections, no drilling. Out and free in 15 minutes!

Yesterday’s encouraging weather disappeared in a shroud of mist that slowly cleared to give a tantalising glimpse of what might have been. By the time we went for a walk normal service had been resumed. Lowering with rain in the air.
