Family flowers…

… bright and beautiful, just like Valerie.

It’s been a long but very special day, to be revisited, remembered and cherished for a long time.

Valerie was muchly loved and the 160 people there today to say their goodbyes was evidence of that. She didn’t want any fuss, no long eulogies that she said she’d cringe at (Who? Me?) We still did though, spoke tributes, because she was SO worth it.

Her four nephews, her son-in-law and son Simon carried her into the service. Simon spoke for her children, Sarah spoke for Neil and We3 spoke for ourselves. Tim gave a message, that Valerie loved with all her heart; from her gut, the core of her being, just as God loves us, despite us and for us.

We’re tired, still wired but oh so grateful for today and for the opportunity to give thanks for a very precious Valerie.
