This morning we wandered around Candie Gardens, after having coffee and toast to keep our strength up. Then we meandered along past the harbour up to the castle and were almost underneath the cannon when it was fired for noon, and on to the aquarium, where we saw a blue lobster amongst other exotic fish and lizardy things. Lunch al fresco and the bus back for a rest. Holidays are such hard work!

I caught sight of this wader on the way back - it is smaller than some of the seagulls.
