I was delighted to see a pair of Pied (Penny) Wagtails scurrying about on the patio this afternoon.   They are sometimes, though not often, on the lane when I walk Luna but seldom have I seen one in the garden.
This ones mate is in extras.
The northerly wind has made it seem extremely cold today and I underestimated the strength of it at lunchtime after I had hung the bedding out to dry and had to retrieve the duvet cover from the bungalow roof.   That was my piece of excitement for the day, just hope the neighbours didn't see me !!
