Lake Como Greenway

The variety of landscape and views was a real treat on today's walk. We began in Colonno and looked out over a serene lake with a single old-style fishing boat called a "Lucia", see second extra, where they row standing up. 
We walked though ancient villages, had lunch on the lakeside,  passing olive groves, first extra, and grand villas, eventually coming to Griante. 
At the end we turned back to carry on walking as we just missed one bus and it was going to be a long wait for a second bus.
