It was pouring with rain when I woke up and judging by the roads it had been doing so all night!
Drove to upholstery class and carried on with my chair. Think it will take me another 3-4 weeks but I have to make a decision re the fabric , taking into account two cats who like to scratch! JS was working on her chair. She has lots of fabric left and it struck me that this would look good on Ds little chair.
Went back home for lunch (just drizzling by then) and to collect the cottage pies for G and C.Spent a couple of hours with them. C is getting stronger but still very anxious about anything new or spending any time in the chair rather than the bed. NHS and private physio are both visiting later this week for their initial assessment and we are hoping this will accelerate her mobility. Called in to see Dad for a cup of tea and a chat. He was fine and told me about his wood turning plans! The sun was setting as I arrived home - stunning!
