Finished the cottage pies to take to G and C tomorrow - 6 portions so that should last them for s couple of weeks I hope. Also one portion for me. Drove down to Stamford for the second time in two weeks, this time to meet TB. The river was a lot higher than last time and I had to negotiate the closed flood gate when I walked from the car park into town. We had a nice lunch at Lambetts and a good catch-up. There were a couple of shops with sales on so I bought a pair of trousers with 75% off and a lovely Grizas dress with 30% off. I’m in a real rut with what I wear, not helped by my weight gain due to the meds I’m on, so I’m hoping these might help. I think I need to put some time aside for a wardrobe review.
Collected a cat tree that I’d seen in a Facebook page on the way home. It’s a bit small really but hopefully will give me an idea if they like them before I invest in a larger one.
It was a mild , windy day but started to pour with rain just as I arrived home. Good timing!
