This photo had been previously taken down, but thanks to the great blipfoto admins it's back up again. The amount of sites that moderate but then dont respond to emails or tell you why it was moderated drives me nuts!

These guys sent me an email explaining why it was taken down (I was unsure if it was before or after midnight), but after checking EXIF data we agreed to put it back up! All credit to them! Great to have a team that actually responds to users email.

Now..I will try to remember what I had written about this photo. If anyone can remember anything I had written before but missed out now, please add it in the comments.

OK. So its of Beth Rowley supporting Duke Special at a gig at the Point, Cardiff bay.

SUCH a great gig, and I was chuffed to bits because i used my 50mm f/1.8 for the first time at a gig. WOW does that extra stop make a diffrence! I was shooting ISO400 at 1/125 and the results were great. No post processing needed either!

Summary of a mini story I had written in previous post.
This was the quietest gig I had ever been to.
You could hear a pin drop everyone was so quiet.
Some idiot decided to start blinding the band with flash photography every second.
He also decided to start trying to shout over the band to his girlfriend.
He did this for a few songs.
My dad asked him to keep him down.
The man didn't like this.
AT ALL.
At the end of the gig he comes up to us saying my dad told him to 'shut the eff up'
This was a blatent lie.
He continued looking for a fight.
It really annoyed me.
Why do idiots like this exist?
Why come to a gig if all you're going to do is talk over it?
Why come looking for a fight afterwards with a kid(me), his girlfriend(Harriet) and his dad(Tony)?

Anyway, if you're into acoustic/piano/odd/indie/very good music then definatly check out both Duke Special and Beth Rowley. Was one of the better gigs for a long time.
