Nicky from the train

This is how she is known across my friends and family, we agreed this evening that perhaps we are ready to drop “from the train”. For the first time since we first met we went on a train! To Shoreham to the lovely bookshop for an author event. I couldn’t stop grinning throughout, the whole thing was great - not least sitting in front of the woman who wrote the book I read last week, she read bits of it to us, talked about writing it etc. Proper great. Before all that a walk in the rain, rain, rain. Coffee with Marie and we have nearly finished the bloody puzzle (we= Will and me with nothing from Daisy at all.)
