The family

An early blip. I'm heading to the district office to finalize things!! I could get into the school tomorrow. :-)

This sculpture is in the middle of Prexy's Pasture on campus. It's a big grassy area with sidewalks crossing it and is a main walkway for students. The sculpture was made in 1983 and I've always liked it. There is some controversy now about having something that represents  families now that isn't so traditional. I can see that maybe it's time for it to be updated. But they would move it indoors somewhere. It's gotten pretty weathered over the years. I do enjoy seeing it as I walk across the green though.
