Like Riding a Bike

FINALLY after not cross-country skiing for a little over 10 years, (no good trails close to where I lived) I got up to Happy Jack for a quick ski on the easy groomed trails. It was glorious and it felt very natural. I only fell once :-)  It takes 15 minutes to drive up to these trails from town. We are so lucky!!

I stopped by the School District to give them my new phone number and the secretary looked at me like "Who are you?" I told her where I was hired and she said she didn't know anything about it... (eye roll) She called the principal and found out, yes, they hired me and yes, they want me ASAP. So she gave me forms so I could go get my fingerprinting done. And emailed me a packet of forms to fill out. Now tomorrow I can get a bank account since I have proof that I've got a job here. Then I can finish the packet after I get the bank account so I can get direct deposit portion filled out.
I guess I got the ball rolling but maybe I should have gone in there last week. But really, it shouldn't have been me to get the ball rolling.
