Railway Mosaic

A visit to Central Station while we were in the town centre. Walking in from Hope Street you pass the rather splendid, 26 metre, Mosaic which was commissioned and and place in the station commerating Glasgow's Year as Cultural Capital of Europe 1990. The panel represents an Intercity train crossing the River Clyde.

Our elder niece had given us a Gift Voucher for a tour of Glasgow Central Station so that has now been booked for the middle of March.
