If we took a holiday.....

Do you remember the old days?

When people holidayed in the UK;  Englandshire if you were far travelled and from Scotland; Loch Lomond or Calendar of you weren't (far travelled) 

Edinburgh was a distant dream 

During the months of June July and August the side board would fill up with sticks of Rock.. Wemyess Bay; Ardlui; Silloth, solway Lido.  And Piece De Resistance Blackpool 

Postcards too.... All over the sideboard displaying photos of where every one.had travelled to.  Places of dreams and sunshine and warm.sandy beaches 

Autumns were spent rotting your teeth working your way through the rock. Great times 

L at work went to Blackpool at the weekend and brought us all a stick

It was that kind of day again
